Der Astronomieverein informiert Sie über seine Sternwarte mit Planetarium seine Aktivitäten und bietet Ihnen darüber hinaus aktuelle Meldungen aus Astronomie und Raumfahrt. Jeden Mittwoch ab 20:00 Uhr bieten Mitglieder des Astronomischen Vereins der Grafschaft Bentheim e. V. in der Sternwarte Neuenhaus allgemeinverständliche Rundführungen an. Neben einer Ausstellung zum Leben im Weltraum, einer Diaserie zu unserem Sonnensystem, lernen Besucher den aktuellen Sternenhimmel kennen und können durch eines der größten, öffentlichen Fernrohre im westlichen und mittleren Niedersachsen die Sterne beobachten. Im Planetarium kann auch bei schlechtem Wetter der Sternenhimmel simuliert werden.
