Fotoclub De Beeldjagers - Hilversum Meent

Fotoclub De Beeldjagers is al ruim 25 jaar een club met enthousiaste amateur-fotografen, waar zowel de beginnende - als de ervaren fotograaf lid kan worden. Onze basis is het wijkcentrum De Kruisdam in de Hilversumse Meent. Onze club heeft op dit moment 25 leden, afkomstig uit de hele regio.Nieuwe leden zijn nog steeds van harte welkom. Wat doen wij? Twee keer per jaar wordt door de leden van de club een programma samengesteld waarna gedurende een periode van 8 maanden op vele manieren de fotografie wordt besproken en beoefend. Chatham Camera Club

We are a SW Ontario photography club that meets to share photographic knowledge organize club outings and enter photo competitions. Novice to semi-pro photographers welcome. The Chatham Camera Club is a over 70 year old Chatham-Kent, Ontario Canada based Photography Club, and a long time member of the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts CAPA . We actively interact with other Clubs and National organizations to promote and further the Art of Photography in our community. We judge and promote local photographic contests as well as National submissions by other Ontario Clubs and hold seminars to help educate and encourage the enjoyment of photography. In 2006, with the generous assistance of the Trillium Foundation we transitioned from a film and slide based Club to one primarily focused on Digital Cameras and technology. Although slides, film and print still play a role in our Club all competitions and photo exchanges with other Clubs are now done through E-mail and the Internet. Our new digital projection equipment has enhanced our meetings, workshops and presentations significantly. As a result of the new wave of digital cameras and technology our Club has tripled in size in the last 12 months with virtually all members having converted to Digital Cameras. If you are reading this because you are interested in Digital Photography or would like to know how to use that new camera, we encourage you to come to our meetings or Photo Outings to see what we are all about. In 2008, with backing from CAPA, the Trillium Foundation supported us again with a grant to purchase additional equiptment to support the Club and our role in the community. Foto Fotoclub Almere

Fotoclub Almere is nu ruim 25 jaar actief. De leden van de club hebben allemaal n en dezelfde passie: fotografie. Het doel van de club is om ervaringen op fotografisch gebied met elkaar te delen en om van elkaar te leren. Wij hechten veel waarde aan een rustige en ongedwongen sfeer. Het jaarprogramma van de club is gemaakt door n voor de leden. Met het jaarprogramma proberen we zo veel mogelijk verschillende technieken en disciplines van de fotografie te behandelen. Dat kan vari ren van doe-avonden tot het bespreken van foto s door een bekende fotograaf. Ook zijn er soms uitstapjes en projecten, waar je aan mee kunt doen. Daarnaast organiseren wij jaarlijks een expositie die gehouden wordt in het stadhuis. Deze expositie valt samen met de wedstrijd om de Joost Morssink Wisseltrofee, een fotowedstrijd waaraan alle Almeerders kunnen deelnemen. Als club zijn wij aangesloten bij de Bond van Nederlandse Amateurfotografen Verenigingen de Fotobond . Dat betekent dat alle leden van onze club automatisch lid zijn van de Fotobond. De vaste clubavond is de donderdagavond, behalve tijdens de schoolvakanties. De avond begint om 20:00 uur.

Fotografische Gesellschaft Trier

Die Fotografische Gesellschaft Trier e.V. wurde Ende 1999 von engagierten Fotoamateuren und Berufsfotografen gegründet, um die analoge und digitale Fotografie auf kultureller und gesellschaftlicher Ebene zu fördern. So können wir unsere Arbeiten besser einem breiten Publikum präsentieren und in Geselligkeit uns an dem gemeinsamen Hobby erfreuen. Natürlich wollen wir auch neue Freunde für die Fotografie gewinnen und den Stellenwert der Fotografie im kulturellen Leben weiter fördern. Diesem Anliegen dienten bisher: Ausstellungen in Trier und Thüringen Workshops mit und in Trierer Schulen Exkursionen u.a. nach Paris, Berlin, Köln Museumsbesuche in Luxemburg, Speyer, Metz und Berlin Für die nähere Zukunft planen wir z.B. als weitere Projekte: Ausstellungen in Verbindung mit der Landesgartenschau Trier verstärkten Austausch mit den Partnerstädten und Kreisen Veranstaltungen mit renommierten Künstlern und Fotografen Dabei helfen uns natürlich auch die bestehenden Kontakte zu Wirtschaftsbetrieben und die Unterstützung verschiedener Behörden und Einrichtungen in Trier. Diese Hilfe beschränkt sich nicht nur auf die Stellung von Ausstellungsräumen und Material. Im Landesfilmdienst Rheinland-Pfalz in Trier können unsere Mitglieder beispielsweise auch das Fotolabor und andere Einrichtungen nutzen. In den Räumen des Landesfilmdienstes treffen wir uns auch zu unseren regelmäßigen Vereinsabenden, an denen wir im größeren Kreis und mit Gästen Vorträge zu fotografischen Themen hören und diskutieren. Dort ist auch eine monatlich wechselnde Ausstellung mit Bildern in vereinseigenen Rahmen und Passepartouts unserer Mitglieder zu sehen. Der Verein finanziert sich vollständig aus Mitgliedsbeiträgen, die z.B. für die Beschaffung von Geräten professionelle Passepartout-Schneidemaschine, Lampen, Werkzeug , Lehrmaterial oder Bilderrahmen verwendet werden.

JPS CAMERA CLUB - Johannesburg, South Africa

JPS meets at the Sans Souci Hotel, which is located next to the Milpark Hospital, Guild Road, Parktown West, Johannesburg. Secure parking is available free of charge. We ask for a donation of R5 per person to cover the cost of tea and cakes. There are two meetings every month except during the festive season on the first and third Tuesday. We try to start at 19:30 and usually end at about 22:00 if all goes well. The first meeting of the month 1st Tuesday is a Judging Meeting where projected images are judged and scored, normally by an external judge. A monthly Set Subject is also judged. These scores are accumulated for each member to determine advancement within the club through the categories of Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Beret. Additionally, the previous month s digital images are categorized into Nature and Pictorial and are judged to determine an overall winner of the Image of the Month .
