I am very aware that, whereas the food is eaten, the flowers fade and the dress is packed away, the photographs remain as a lasting memorial not only of the couple s wedding experiences but also of people and events they may have missed on the day. That is why I favour a reportage approach, aiming to capture as much of the day as possible, from the bride s final preparations to the honeymoon departure, and incorporating the more traditional or formal group photographs, which celebrate the family and friends who have come to share the couple s day.
