Der Einschlag war gewaltig und entsprach einer Gewalt von 250.0000 Hiroshima-Atombomben. Die Wucht der Detonation riss ein Krater mit 25 km Durchmesser in die Erdkruste. Wir stehen vor einem der am besten erhaltenen Impact-Krater der Erde: das Nördlinger Ries.

Nikon präsentiert Fotosharing-Dienst „my Picturetown“ und W-LAN-Kooperation mit T-Mobile
Im Urlaub, auf Geschäftsreise oder beim Gartenfest – es gibt nichts Schöneres als besondere Momente auf Fotos festzuhalten und diese dann mit Freunden und Bekannten zu teilen. Bisher war dies nur am heimischen Computer oder mit Papierabzügen der Fotos möglich. Mit der Nikon COOLPIX S52c, dem neuen Wireless-LAN-Modell von Nikon, ist das jetzt auch über den Nikon Fotosharing-Dienst „my Picturetown“ (www.mypicturetown.com) möglich. In einer Kooperation mit T-Mobile ermöglicht Nikon allen S52c Kunden, die mehr als 8.000 W-LAN-HotSpots von T-Mobile in Deutschland kostenfrei zu nutzen, um ihre mit der S52c geschossenen Bilder kabellos ins Internet hochladen zu können.
