My Name is David Goovaerts, and I want to welcome you to the MilAviationPics.com website. I started out as the webmaster of the Tiger-Lair.org website, a website that is dedicated to the Big cat squadrons around the world. After a few years I decided to start with a spin-off website, that would contain pictures of my, by this time vast collection of Military Aviation Pictures, and that s were the name comes from MilAviationPics. After a first layout change a few years later, I started to add articles written by myself and a few other authors that I know or who have contacted me with the question to publish on my website. It didn t take long before I started to get problems with the long list of events where I ve been, and from where I want to share pictures from with you, the worldwide web. After another layout change in the beginning of 2005 I still wasn t entirely happy with the navigation true the site, and with the work needed to add a new gallery, or carry out an update. By the end of 2005 I finished the site in its new jacket, One I hope will be easier to maintain, and lasts a little longer.
