Bill Stein has logged over 3,000 hours of aerobatic and formation flight. Bill began flying aerobatics when he was still a student pilot and has been dedicated to perfecting his skills ever since. Since 1995 Bill has performed at air shows all across the United States and has entertained millions air show fans. Bill s passion for precision flying is evident in his dazzling air show routine. He trains every day so that his skills stay razor sharp, and to maintain the all-out energy and excitement he puts into his air show sequence. Bill s experience includes competitive aerobatics and years of flying on the world famous Red Baron Stearman Squadron. Bill also gives back to the air show community by mentoring new air show pilots including coaching the Stars of Tomorrow team which have performed at many prestigious air shows including the EAA AirVenture Air Show.

ANGEL 7 available for air shows. Static or in flight. ANGEL 7 is an L-39C, built in the Czech Republic by Aero Vodochody. The L-39 was used as a jet trainer by numerous air forces throughout Eastern Europe beginning in 1974 and continuing through today. Over 2800 L-39 s were built, and almost 300 are registered to non-military owners in the United States.

Airshows America

Our pilots are among the best aerobatic jet pilots in the country. US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Dean Wright entered the Air Force in 1987 upon graduation from the US Air Force Academy. Since then Dean has logged over 4,000 hours of fighter time on assignments in Europe and the Pacific and deployed to Turkey in 1991 in support of Operation Desert Storm and to Iraq in 2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dean has won several Top Gun awards for his air-to-ground gunnery skills while flying the A-10 Warthog and as a Royal Air Force exchange officer in the GR.7 Harrier. Lt Col Wright also served three years with the US Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, as Lead Solo flying the F-16C Fighting Falcon.
