abstract fashion and portrait photography by Madame Peripetie. Since I started playing around with my camera I was overwhelmed with surrealistic depiction of reality, where you are allowed to invent your own outsiderisms and strangities , without needing to explain them, where you can just play around, demonstrating your craziest dreamy ideas. I steeped in the works of surrealists like Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte and Man Ray who made use of symbolism and the placed objects where they wouldn t normally be, giving them a new life outside of the one in conventional reality. I loved the combination of these unusual, often morbid ideas with fashion photography. That s how I discovered Guy Bourdin and his fable for extremes like sex, death, violence, glamour and fear, to provoke a new way of looking at man in general. It became clear for me that it is not fashion but it s the image that seduces and fascinates us in the first place. I got very attracted to his dreamy, enigmatic figures, ambiguities and the forward-thinking approach to the image spans much further afield than fashion alone. It became my desire to create my own disturbing worlds and spaces and wanted the viewers to react to my work with anxiety, tension and puzzlement. I developed a strong fascination towards the flawless conceptualism and strong artistic post production of David la Chapelle, Rankin and Erwin Olaf and a cinematic style of Eugenio Recuenco. Für mich stellt sich Fotografie als Inbegriff von künstlerischer Kreativität dar. Am Anfang steht daher der Wunsch etwas fotografisch schaffen zu wollen - die Visualisierung. Ein kreatives Produkt - Bild - erfüllt drei Kriterien: es ist neu und anders als das Gewohnte es ist überraschend es erzeugt Gefühle und Stimmungen Bei der Visualisierung mache ich mir vom gewünschten Ergebnis gedanklich ein Bild. Sei es in der Natur und im täglichen Leben ohne großen Aufwand oder in der künstlerisch fantasiebetonten Fotografie: ich bringe meine visuelle Kreativität zum Ausdruck in der Umsetzung von fotografischen Wünschen, die Lebenssituationen, Natur und Mensch wiederspiegeln. Der Mensch auf der Straße in besonderen Situationen oder der Mensch der sich bewusst vor meine Kamera begibt ist mein Hauptmotiv.
