Stephanie O Connor Photography - Washington, DC

Stephanie O Connor was raised overseas, as the daughter of a diplomat, in Venezuela, Columbia and Pakistan. Her love for art and specifically the photographic image was inspired by both her grandmothers love for art and personal expression. She pursed the arts throughout her childhood but began to focus on photography as her medium of choice during her high school years in the United States. Thereafter, she refined her skills at the Savannah College of Art and Design, studied abroad in Italy and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2005. After her degree, she moved to New York City and worked full time with the InStyle Magazine photo department, while regularly freelancing throughout NYC. At the end of 2006, she traveled back to Pakistan, where she shot for several months independently and in the non profit sector. Since her brief stint abroad, Stephanie has held various notable exhibitions in the USA as well as holding talks experiences. Her images of Pakistan have been published nationally and abroad. Stephanie also possesses affection for teaching, and has been teaching throughout her life when time has permitted. She continues to shoot in an attempt to share her love for the world around her. This passion to share the world, through her lens, continues on in the hopes of reaching a multitude of people and places. She currently resides in Washington, DC.

Abby Brack has been shooting assignments as a professional photographer for over eight years. While working as a staff photographer for the Daily Free Press, Abby earned a bachelor s degree in Photojournalism from Boston University. As State House Photographer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Abby documented daily activities of state government and maintained multimedia components for the Executive Office website. In January 2007, Romney for President, Inc. hired her as their official campaign photographer. Abby photographed, videotaped and audio recorded all public campaign events over thirteen months until the campaign s end in February 2008. Abby has very recently relocated to Washington, DC and is available for assignments.

Photo essays, stories 1997-2002 : Seattle s Community Gardens, Turkey-Greece, A Holocaust Tour, Rwanda, Greenland, Iceland --- In November 2006, I published highlights of my delightful and completely tourist-oriented trip to Italy, which I visited in October and November 2006. The Italians appreciation of good food, simple pleasures, and their rich cultural heritage was positively contagious. Upon my first anniversary of having lived a full year in Anchorage, Alaska, I published my Alaska photo essays, in August 2005. In April 2005, I published my photos and a short essay focussing on Egypt, which I visited in November and December 2004. In May 2004, I published photographs taken in the State of Israel and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. In December 2003, I published images from my November-December trip to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. In June 2003, I published a few of the many images I took during my travels in the Philippines in February 2003.
