Beeston (Notts) Camera Club Nottingham, Slide, Print, Digital Photography

We meet each week at 8.00pm, from the first Thursday in September to the first Thursday in May, at the Victory Club, Station Road, Beeston, Nottingham. We cater for a full range of photographers, from absolute beginners to professionals and for those who shoot in digital as well as traditional media. Beeston Camera Club is affiliated to the North and East Midlands Photographic Federation (N&EMPF) and through them, to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and on to the Federation International des Arts Photographie (FIAP). MPP USERS' CLUB

The club is the world authority on cameras and photographic equipment manufactured by the former British company Micro Precison Products Limited of Kingston-on-Thames and Wandsworth, London, England.Founded in 1995, the objectives of the club are to foster the use of MPP cameras and other photographic products and membership is open to all who own, use or just collect MPP products.It is small single interest club of currently about 250 members. Based in England, it is run by a group of enthusiasts both professional and amateur, who give their time freely for the benefit of fellow members.The club seeks to encourage the interchange of information between members by publishing a magazine called the Gazette at regular intervals throughout the year in which are articles submitted by club members. It features all aspects of MPP products from design, technical and repair issues to the practical everyday use of them. In addition, historical matters are published relating to both the products and the company that manufactured them, Micro Precision Products Ltd. Membership is renewable annually at the beginning of each year, the current subscription for UK residents being £7 sterling. Members living in other countries pay a slightly higher subscription which reflects any exchange rate differences and the higher cost of postage of the Gazette magazine.The Annual General Meeting is held usually each April and is a platform for members to put forward ideas as well as elect the...

The Aim of our society is to promote and teach all aspects of photography in all its forms, from novice to advanced levels, both traditional and computerised to the local community. This we achieve by having a full and varied programme which runs all year. These include Guest Speakers covering many different subjects , model nights and trips out with the camera taking great photos. The society is always prepared and willing to attend any function i.e. Gala s, Schools and any other place to further the interest of photography.

TTL Through The Lens Camera Club - Photographic Society based in Doncaster South Yorkshire UK. We hold competitions throughout the year, lectures, team challenges, inter-club battles, free nights just to relax and look at images and talk photography, workshops, minibus trips out and even go away together on a club holiday. The club is home to a group of friendly and welcoming photographers of varying levels of expertise. We meet each Tuesday between September and April to enjoy our shared hobby through a varied programme of events. Please do come along to the Church Rooms any Tuesday evening between September and April at 7.30 pm, you will find us all very ready to welcome you to the club. New members in January will be made most welcome and will be asked for a reduced, pro-rata, fee for the remainder of the year.

Yorkshire Monochrome Group

Yorkshire Monochrome Group

Yorkshire Monochrome Group - for all black and white photography enthusiasts. Meetings must be booked and paid for in advance. Numbers are limited to 50. The aim of the group is to encourage monochrome photography by: producing, showing and discussing our own prints with colleagues; mounting exhibitions of our work; sharing knowledge and ideas with each other and enjoying the information and stimulation afforded by our invited afternoon speakers. All meetings start at 10.15 with the viewing and discussion of each others prints. Prints will have priority. We break for lunch from 12.15 to 1.45 pm, after which we may have a visiting speaker.

It provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on photographic techniques, and encourages an appreciation of the artistic and creative side of photography. Members of all levels of achievement are encouraged to show and discuss their work. No photographic knowledge required - just enjoy viewing photographs and the night out!
