Essendon Camera Club - Helping Your Photography To Grow

For more than 50 years the Essendon Camera Club has been acknowledged as one of Melbourne's foremost photographic clubs.ECC members are represented in competitions at state, national and international level.A sample of their work is displayed here (click on any image).However less inexperienced photographers and newcomers are always made welcome and given the opportunity to grow their photographic skills.The club meets twice monthly. Click here to view a copy of our current syllabus. We are an incorporated association operating under rules approved by Consumer Affairs Victoria. The fourth Monday of each month is an activity night such as a guest speaker, demonstration, or visit to a photographic-related facility. Weekend outings are also conducted to allow members to combine a day out with practical photography.

Wodonga-Albury Camera Club, Wodonga VIC, Australia

We are a group of keen photographers who enjoy our craft and sharing it with others. We like to gain knowledge to improve our art and strive to better our skills. Meeting with other like minded people to exhibit our work and to learn. Our members shoot with both film and digital, with many using photo imaging software to both enhance and manipulate their photographs. Some even like to get into the conventional darkroom to make their prints the old way, when they find the time. Monthly competitions see prints entered made from film and digital mediums - colour and monochome, as well as slides. A new competition requires members to enter digital files not a print . We are part of the North East and Goulburn Valley Association of Camera Clubs NEGV , where members are able to take part in an interclub competition and attend meetings and workshops arranged by the NEGV Committee. We are also part of the Victorian Association of Photographic Societies VAPS and the Federation of Camera Clubs NSW FCC . General meetings are held at the Lavington Panthers on the second Thursday of every month, commencing at 7:30pm until approx. 10:00pm. Usually a few members meet earlier for a meal in the Panthers Bistro before the meeting. The meeting agenda usually includes: the showing of the monthly Competition entries with judges scores and comments. presentations by visiting judges, guests or members. practical demonstrations may be arranged for some meetings. supper time is a good time to have...

Warrnambool Camera Club - Victoria Australia

Warrnambool Camera Club - Meetings are held the first Thursday of the month (except January and sometimes May) at 7.30 pm. in The Church Hall, Drummond Street, Dennington. Meetings are often forums for sharing and learning from each other. Meetings usually have an educative element e.g. guest speakers. The main meetings during the year also include a photo competition where members can obtain critical appraisal of their work.
