Der Barista ist ein Künstler, der die Klaviatur der Espressomaschine perfekt beherrscht und je nach Kundenwunsch immer wieder neue Kaffeespezialitäten und Cappucinokunstwerke zubereitet. Barista ist das italienische Wort für den englischen Bartender. Der Begriff wurde zunächst ins Englische übernommen, wobei die Bedeutung sich leicht verschob. Während ein Barista in Italien alle Arten von Getränken serviert, wird hiermit im englischen Sprachraum jemand bezeichnet, der - vornehmlich in Coffee Shops - Getränke auf der Basis von Espresso fachgerecht zubereitet und serviert. Mit dieser Bedeutung wurde der Begriff Barista schließlich auch in den deutschen Wortschatz übernommen.

DIVE photographers have in the main marketed themselves through their own website, folios and in some cases general libraries but never through a dedicated marine library-agency of which there are very few in the world. The idea for Oceans was to create an library to service all levels of editorial - from major newspapers and glossy magazines to advertising and design. Some of the finest underwater photographers have agreed for Oceans to handle their work including Charles Hood and Donald Tipton, Douglas David Seifert to name a few. A team was employed to scan and meticulously work through the carefully selected images. The launch was marked with an exhibition of one of the star photographers, Douglas David Seifert, at the celebrity club Soho House. Today thousands of images have been stowed on DVDs and hard-drives and Oceans is up and running. Oceans-Image team consists of the owners Matthew Ford, Graeme Gourlay, Charles Hood, Jake Eyre handling the IT and Pete McDonagh of CODESIGN building the web site
