Rick Valenzuela: Reporter Photographer

Every day, newspapers run wild art, pictures that don t accompany an article, to anchor a page with a graphic or otherwise tell a story. Reporter and photographer Rick Valenzuela will exhibit a collection of such standalone photographs, mostly from Southeast Asia and West Africa, throughout the month of January at Deep Sleep, 54 N. Third St., Philadelphia. The show opens 04 Jan 2008, from about 5 to 8 p.m., and Sean Lee will be playing music as well.
