All photo wallpapers on Natures Desktop are taken by me - Dave Massey, I currently live in Nottingham in the center of the UK. The site was started in Spring 2006 when I got my first proper digital SLR camera, a Canon 20D. The lens used are a canon 17-55 image stabilized - mainly for landscapes, a 70-200mm canon L series zoom for Animals Birds and a 60mm Macro for close up macro photos. I try to add new photos on a regular basis as i visit new places and areas. Places visited so far include - Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cumbria and Yorkshire. The places to visit section is an ever expanding list of interesting locations around the UK. This is not just for photographers, but for anyone who enjoys the natural beauty spots of the UK. All my free natural desktop wallpapers are 1600x1200 wide screen and 1280x1024 - they work well on smaller screens. The location information is included with all the photos, so you can find the beautiful places and visit them for yourself. Places visited so far include Derbyshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cumbria, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.
