Matteo Brogi - Photojournalist

Matteo Brogi is a professional photojournalist living in Italy. Born in July 1968 in Bologna, he lives in Florence, very close to the city centre. He started shooting very young using an old Praktica reflex; in 1991 he met the photojournalists Tommaso Guicciardini and Guglielmo de Micheli and started working as their assistant. Few years later he met David Lees, a former photographer of Time Life. Thanks to Lees, who soon became a close friend, he started working as a photojournalist. It was January 1995. Matteo Brogi covers corporate reports and all editorial assignments. His specialties are portraits, travel reportages, food and wine, interiors and guns due to his long career in sports . He also works in other photographic fields such as fashion, always following his rigorous and non-intrusive style. He regularly contributes on assignment, and preferably on location, to important Italian and foreign magazines.
