My name is Ganesh H Shankar or Ganesh HS . I live in Bangalore, India. I was born and brought-up in a small beautiful village closer to both Arabian sea and Western Ghats ever green rain forest mountain ranges in India . So my love for nature and wildlife is by birth. I started photography with a an in expensive point-and-shoot camera in 1994 but it became my passionate hobby from 1998. I am not a professional nature photographer in the sense that I don t make my living from it otherwise, I think I am as professional-: This helps me in some way - I make images for myself atleast as of now not for nature photography market. So I am not bound by rules of making images. By profession I am an engineer. Nature Lyrics is collection of some of my images of wildlife and nature. This is my attempt at portraying how I saw see nature and wildlife. Nature photography may have several purposes ranging from research, documentation to creation of aesthetic art. My interest is in creating some artistic imagery in my own way and is not in making collection of images of different birds or mammals. All my images are made in a completely ethical way - subject s welfare comes first. Most of the images here are full frame and are capable of producing fine, large prints. I use quality equipments ranging from Nikon 12-24mm lens to 600mm f4 AF-S lens using either Nikon D300, D200 or Nikon F5 earlier bodies, Gitzo 1500 GT5540LS tripod, Arca-Swiss B1 and Wimberley heads and using right techniques. KAH KIT YOONG Born in 1973 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Kah Kit Yoong is a Melbourne-based photographer. A doctor, by profession, he discovered photography in 2005, when visiting Cradle Mountain National Park in Tasmania, Australia. He immediately realized the limits of his point-and-shoot digital camera when it failed to capture anything of the grandeur of this landscape. Later that year, armed with a digital SLR, a 4 month trip to Europe with Winnie Ho provided the perfect training ground for their photography. At the end of 2005, they travelled to Jiuzhaigou, China to photograph the national park in autumn. A return trip in 2006 to indulge in wandering historic Italian towns and driving around the countryside of Tuscany & Umbria helped consolidate skills in travel photography. When living at home in Australia, Kah Kit exclusively photographs landscapes. Most of this portfolio features the spectacularly varied landscapes of the island state of Tasmania and the coastline of his home state, Victoria. Wide-angles are often used in his work to create a dramatic perspective to give the viewer a special sense of immediacy. People who have inspired him include : Galen Rowell, Chris Bell, Peter Dombrovskis, Joe Cornish, Charlie Waite and Marc Adamus. Austin Shutterbug Photography and Camera Club, Texas USA

The Austin Shutterbug Club is the camera and photography club of Austin Texas and its surrounding area. We hold monthly meetings and photo competitions and we also schedule field trips and workshops throughout the year. People of all skill levels are welcome. The Austin Shutterbug Club (ASC) was founded in 1998 as a nonprofit photographic organization. The objective of ASC is to encourage the photographic enthusiast in the enjoyment and improvement of his or her photography. Any person may join ASC by paying and maintaining current annual club dues. The Purpose of the Austin Shutterbug Club shall be to encourage an interest in photography, provide an opportunity for the exchange of ideas, to provide an enjoyable forum for the development of artistic and technical photographic skills and to promote a healthy spirit through educational programs, exhibition and competition. The club is open to members of all photographic skill levels. The club year mirrors the calendar year running from January through December. All fiscal activities are based upon the club year. The Beaudesert Camera Club - Queensland, Australia

Our club is always on the go! To keep track of the various activities that have been planned for the year check our online Calendar. This Calendar is continually being updated to reflect the changes in any activities planned, it lists each meeting and who the Guest Speaker is. At each meeting we have two photographic competitions. One for Novice Photographers and one for Advanced Photographers. Winning Critique photos are placed on the website each month. Have a look at the photos and be inspired. Each competition is split into two sections. Open where you can submit a photo of any subject Topic where you can submit a photo of a given subject. The Topics are set at the beginning of each year and are listed in the Yearly Calendar so you can plan your shots in advance. Each entry into the competition earns points depending on its placing. These points accumulate and at the end of the year there is an overall winner. In addition to the Monthly Competitions, we also run a Quarterly Competition for Enlargements . Enlargements can be of any subject, but the photo must be enlarged and should be matted. These monthly competitions are judged for us by the Guest Speaker for that month. In addition to our Weekend Camps, we go on various Day Trips throughout the year. These trips can be held with only a few members or with many members. We are Bruce and Linda Petrarca. We live in PebbleCreek, a Robson community in Goodyear, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. There we have businesses: Bruce, runs Litchfield Station, providing electronics for model railroading. Linda is the first Certified ONE Stroke Instructor in Arizona. We started scuba together in 1983. Bruce was already a successful land photographer, having been published since 1967. He began shooting underwater on his first dive trip! Beginning with a point and shoot underwater camera, Bruce purchased a Nikonos IV-a in early 1984. He has upgraded through the Nikonos series and started shooting video in 1992. The photo above shows Bruce shooting videon on one of the walls of Palau in 1998. He tried and like digital video in Palau in 2002.Bruce's photography was most recently featured in a Mothers' Day special on Phoenix NBC affiliate KPNX-TV (Channel 12). The topic was things for Mothers to do with female-owned businesses and a portrait of Linda from the 1996 Cayman trip was used to promote Oasis Divers, then owned by two ladies named Susan.
