In the Fall of 1991, my two daughters and I made the move to Alaska. We drove from Seattle, Washington all through British Columbia, caught a bit of the Yukon and Northwest Territories, crossed into Alaska, and headed south to Anchorage. In all, it was 2500 miles over 7 days and not once did we lose site of the mountains. I have been shooting nature ever since. My daughters became a favorite subject of mine as well ..... much to their dismay. I started my first web site in 1998 - in order to share the beauty we found here. That web site was pretty dismal .... fuzzy pictures and no content what-so-ever .... content? ... what was that? But it wasn t long before Decor developed to the point that you see today. In 1999 I started thinking that maybe I could make a little money with my work. Hey! ... it could happen!!! Well truth is ... I am making some headway toward that first goal. Each year gets a little better allowing us to buy a little more food. In fact, the dog gets to eat regular this year. But now, I have a new goal .... to quit my day job. Ambitious? Oh yes. Tough? You bet. So many pitfalls; so much competition to overcome. But hey! ... I have an advantage ... humility! That s right .... I m humble enough to ask for help! Your help. Please help us live another week or another month. We re not asking for handouts, welfare, gifts, or charity. So, I m a complete photo-dork. And I love it. I have a great life, meeting wonderful people, making fun pictures... I m very happily married to quite the amazing man, and we have a pup named Max who is our only child. Everything in my life influences the pictures I take: that I m still sappy with my husband and we go on dates, that our life revolves around taking care of each other and our boy, that many of my friends are either expecting or have little babies, it all has such a strong impact on how I view other people s lives and how I value the connections each person has with the world. As for my photo philosophy in general: Close your eyes- think about your wedding day, the excitement of your engagement, the way your baby looks at you or clings to you, the relationship you have with your pet s , the laughter of your children, the personality you want to reflect in natural, relaxed family portraits...When you think of these things, how do those memories look to you? Most people have the strongest memories attatched to photos. And when the memories fade, all that s left is what you can see. What do you want to remember? John K. Choy: Living in Korea

This is a story of one of the public service group Dail of Korea. The founder of this group is Il D. Choi, a rector of Presbyterian, who have been offering since 1991 the free lunch everyday to people who live in difficult in poverty in Seoul, Korea. The founder said I do nothing but my duty to practice and follow what Jesus Christ gave us This group is now supported by a few thousand Korean donators with minimum donation US 10.00 per month. A donators and helpers are very glad to help and gathers every morning to provide for lunch. The preparation of lunch is needed about US 800.00 for about 250 to 300 people. Some of people have no family and are beggar. And some of them do not like to enjoy the lunch with their family. They said It is not free, because we pay 10 cents for food . The group founder not only attends devotedly but also cares people not to be shamed into having the lunch by paying a 10 cents small money. The following photographs are shot while I help them with my church friends.

Gretna Green Wedding Photography - Scotland

Wedding photographer J P Photography in Gretna Green wedding photographs and video for marriage ceremonies and wedding receptions organised in romantic historic Gretna Green or Gretna UK. Our Wedding Day Packages cover the service location, and if required, the arrival of the Bride, exchanging the Wedding Rings, signing the register and visitors book. Depending on the weather, we go to the GRETNA GREEN sign for a couple of shots, then into the Blacksmiths Shop for the ANVIL WEDDING, and more photographs. On your arrival at the registration office, you will be asked for your name, which will be checked with that days wedding list, and then you will be directed to the waiting room. As the time of your marriage approaches, the registrar who will perform the service will come to the waiting room and call for you and your guests to follow her to the marriage room. From that point on the service etc will take approx 10 to 15 minutes. Once seated, you will be asked where you are from, when did you travel, where are you staying, are you going to the anvil etc etc. All of these questions are of course to steady your nerves. The actual service takes about 3 minutes, then signing the marriage form takes place by all concerned. Any more photographs required are then taken. From start to finish, with photographs etc, it usually takes approx 1-1 4 to 1-1 2 hours, depending on the weather, and the number of weddings at any given time.
