In 1991 during the Gulf War, I was in Baghdad for three weeks - saw and photographed what you see on LIVE TV nowadays and revisited Iraq in May 2003 after The Fall of Saddam Hussein. My permanent base is now IRAN where I continue to live and cover events.

AboutI live near Toronto, Canada and really like taking photographs. A friend suggested the photoblog format as a means of displaying them to the world. One of my goals with photography is to take images that cannot be taken with a single click of the shutter. For example, some of the images on this site are a blend of multiple exposures to increase the apparent dynamic range. As well, some of the images are stitched together to form panoramas with wide field of view. As is evident in the hardware list below, all of my gear is digital which helps with this goal.
