IrishPanorama is here to promote Irish Natural and Cultural Heritage worldwide. The website of IrishPanorama.net was created by two enthusiast Tomas Tornyos and Mirka Kolimarova yes! they are a couple, now engaged . They both came to Ireland in July 2006, from Dublin Airport directly to Ballina in County Mayo. It didn t take long to see that Ireland is trully amazing country. The roughness of Atlantic ocean coast as well as scenic routes in the inlands took them by heart. They traveled really a lot around. First just around Mayo, but soon they got also to further parts of Ireland. As photography has been their hobby for quite a time, they decided to bring the sceneries they captured to all interested people arond the world. The name Irish Panorama should be taken from different perspectives. Naturaly, in the first place it evokes panoramic format of the images. Yes, it is intended that the majority of the pictures presented here are in panoramic format, both horizontal and vertical. Horizontal format is more natural to subjectual sight of the world. Our two eyes see more to the sides that to top or botom. That is also why you computer screen is wider than higher.
