Nature Photography; Come wander through our collection of nature photography purchase a fine art nature print or send an e-card. Adam has an extraordinary ability to see the world in a unique way and then convey those images to us. His camera is his brush and life and nature his subjects. And in order to truly appreciate his photographs one must try to get a sense of what his mind really sees. Adam was born and raised in New York City with very little exposure to either nature, except for tar beach, or for that matter, to photography. In fact, his background and training were entirely scientific, driven by a childhood dream of becoming a scientist. He attended a specialized science high school in the Bronx where his experience of nature was limited to what he saw during a four-hour round-trip commute on the subway between his home in Queens and school in the Bronx. Continuing on this academic path, he obtained a bachelor s degree in biochemistry followed by a medical degree and then a Ph.D. in neuroscience. He recently completed a neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently engaged in memory research at UC Berkeley as well as seeing patients with memory disorders at UCSF. It is this background that perhaps establishes Adam s distinctive conceptual framework of the world, which he then paints onto his photographer s canvas. John Still creates photo-illustration for print New Media video and the web. Services include concept development Photo-illustration CG Motion graphics photography creative collaborations. John Still works as a freelance photo illustrator graphics and motion designer. He began his career as a commercial still-life photographer in Boston s Chinatown, where he developed a highly textural and layered multiple media approach to image making. This approach has enabled him to assimilate digital imaging tools as they ve become available over the last 15 years. Since the early 90s, all of his work,while still informed by traditional photography, is created and processed using a toolset that includes digital image capture, 2D & 3D CG, video and motion graphics tools. He routinely works on projects requiring flexible, dynamic imagery designed to be multi-purposed from web mobile to print to video to large display applications. Originally hailing from Florida, John currently lives and works in the Boston area with his wife, son, cat and two frogs.
