Test der Powershot G12 und Canon 70-300mm L-Objektiv?
Als mobile Alternative zur DSLR bietet sich die neue Canon Powershot G12 u.a. wegen manueller Einstellmöglichkeiten und RAW-Formats an. Nicht wenige Canon-Fotografen warten ungeduldig auf unseren Test zum neuen Canon 70-300mm-L-Objektiv. Sind rund 1.400 Euro sinnvoll investiert oder müssen Unschärfen z.B. in der Endbrennweite hingenommen werden ? Hier unser 70-300 L-Testbericht (incl. Vergleichsalternativen !).

Jim Rakete began working as a photojournalist for daily newspapers, magazines and agencies while still at school, initially focusing on the music scene. Already at this point, he portrayed stars such as Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles, Mick Jagger and David Bowie.From 1977 – 1986, he managed the “Fabrik” [Factory] creative laboratory, not only producing the album covers of many musicians of the German New Wave, but also assuming the management of artists such as the Nina Hagen Band, Nena, Spliff, Die Ärzte and Interzone.... After receiving the opportunity there of combining his major interest in people and politics through the magazine “Cicero”, in recent years, he has increasingly photographed politicians, such as the German chancellor of the time, Gerhardt Schröder, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Franz Müntefering und Otto Schily.In addition to portraits of national and international stars of music, film and the arts, today he undertakes advertising commissions and photographs editorials for almost every magazine in the German market.

Kamera- und Fotomuseum: Die Sammlung Kurt Tauber - D-91257 Pegnitz
Photographica von der antiken Holzkamera bis zum Spielzeug - Foto- und Filmgeräte, Projektoren, Labor, Blitzgeräte, Bedienungsanleitungen, Kamera-Altenheim ... 450 Bedienungsanleitungen lieferbar ..... Die treuhänderische (fiduziarische) Stiftung Kameramuseum Kurt Tauber in der Verwaltung der Marktgemeinde Plech wurde im November 2008 gegründet und besitzt die Exponate des 1951 geborenen, heute in Pegnitz bei Bayreuth lebenden Journalisten und Photographica-Sammlers Kurt Tauber, dessen Namen sie auch trägt. Zweck der Stiftung ist die Errichtung des gemeinnützigen Deutschen Kameramuseums in Plech (30 Kilometer nördlich von Nürnberg, direkt an der Autobahn A 9 gelegen). Fotofreunde, die diese Idee unterstützen möchten, können dazu jederzeit weitere Zustiftungen tätigen. Das heißt sie können steuerbegünstigt Bargeld oder Sachwerte spenden: Damit tun sie ein gutes Werk und sparen noch kräftig Steuern.

FilmSniper has been a work in progress for over fifteen years- the last five professionally. What started out as a weekend hobby has turned into a full time labor of love. A friend recently asked me, If you could do anything in the world what would it be? I looked sky ward for a moment and said, Take pictures for the rest of my life and get paid for it . The friend replied, What is stopping you? I have not looked back since. Although I have to have another job to put food on the table I would not stop taking pictures for the world. What could be better than making people look beautiful? If I can make my clients happy I am doing my job. The only complaint that I have from my clients is how to choose the pictures that they want printed.

Many of the dogs presented within my portfolio are their long term residents and by using them for my body of work, I provide them fresh new photographs to help with their adoption process. I find so much satisfaction in my work and knowing that it helps the animals in need really makes my work a labor of love. While working with predominately untrained animals can present a whole series of challenges, I always spend time visualizing my goal for the session prior to picking up my model from the shelter. In doing so, I find that I have been able to build a more cohesive portfolio and I always end my session confident that I have a series of photographs that I am happy with. As I continue to learn more about the art and craft of photography, my excitement continues to grow. While my inner creative might have once been unknown to me, now that I ve discovered it, I plan to continually explore it and in doing so, I hope to enjoy a long and successful career in photography.
